Taxi Driver Found Dead Inside His Cab at Kotwi-Nkoranza

Kwabena Awuah, also known as "Asawado," a 35-year-old taxi driver, was discovered dead inside his vehicle near Kotwi-Nkroanza. The event is being thoroughly investigated by the police in Trede, which is situated in the Atwima-Kwanwoma area of the Ashanti region.

 

The driver and his wife reportedly had a brief argument on Monday night before the sad incident. Awuah allegedly informed everyone in the area that he was leaving for work at around 11:00 p.m. Sadly, on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, his lifeless body was found the next morning. Unverified information indicates that he might have been driving at midnight when he was ambushed and slain by unidentified assailants.

 

His body was promptly taken to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for preservation and an autopsy by law enforcement officials from the Trede Police Station. Investigators are putting in endless effort to determine the attack's motivation and identify the perpetrators.
