keeping up with your student portal is essential for your academic success, but
forgetting a password happens to the best of us. To help you get back to your
studies without the stress, we have put together this easy, step-by-step guide
to resetting your portal access.
Step-by-Step Reset Guide
- Open any web browser and search for asp.aamusted.edu.gh to find the login page.
- If you are using a smartphone, be sure to switch your browser from "mobile view" to "desktop view" or mode to see all options clearly.
- Look below the submit button and click on "Forgot Password (SMS)".
- On the next screen, type in your index number and the exact phone number you used during your registration. Hit submit and wait a few minutes for a text message containing your new "token" password.
- Head back to the main login interface, enter your index number along with the new password you received via SMS, and click submit.
- Once inside, scroll to the bottom and click "Change Password". Use the SMS token as your "old password" and then create a new, memorable password of your choice.
- You will be logged out automatically.
Simply log back in with your permanent password to ensure everything is
working perfectly.
Important Note: If you
see a message saying "Data not found" or "Exceeded request
limit," don't worry. Just visit the I.T. Unit in the Administration block
for further assistance.
