NSA Extends 2025/2026 National Service Registration Deadline—Here’s the New Date

To provide potential service members more time to finish the online registration procedure, the National Service Authority (NSA) has formally extended the deadline for the 2025–2026 National Service.

The registration window will now be open until Friday, October 24, 2025, instead of closing on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. The Authority claims that the extension is intended to give graduates who were unable to complete their registration by the original deadline additional time for a variety of reasons.

The NSA stressed in a statement issued on October 15, 2025, that all qualified graduates should seize this chance to complete their registration and prevent themselves from being excluded from the military postings.

The Authority also reminded all employees that on Monday, November 3, 2025, they must report to their posting locations and start their national service. Exclusion from this years’ service placements could occur if registration is not finished by the revised deadline.

The NSA further advised applicants not to interact with fraudulent websites or people impersonating registration agents. Registration should only be completed on the official website, www.gnsa.gov.gh.

The public was also reassured by the statement of the Authority's dedication to making sure that the registration and deployment procedure for all service members is easy, open, and equitable.

The NSA thanked all parties involved and cautioned potential candidates against engaging in fraudulent actions that would jeopardize their eligibility to serve in the national service program.

Many graduates and final-year students who encountered logistical or technical difficulties during the first registration window will be relieved by this development.
