Akenten Appiah-Menka University Launches Free AgriTech Short |
In partnership with
WUSC-EUMC Western, the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and
Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED) has announced the opening of its
AgriTech Short Courses, which are intended to give professionals and young
people practical skills for contemporary agribusiness and agriculture.
The program offers a
variety of training areas designed to close the gap between agriculture and
technology, and it starts on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. in N.L.B
SF. In order to succeed in the rapidly changing agri-economy of today,
participants will gain hands-on experience in food processing, software
development, digital marketing, and agribusiness management, or
agripreneurship.
The initiative's free
tuition is one of its main selling points. Additionally, throughout the course,
participants will receive allowances to cover food, transportation, and other
necessities. Trainees will get a Certificate of Participation upon completion,
which will entitle them to additional professional and entrepreneurial
prospects.
Additionally, the short
course incorporates a Workplace Experience Learning (WEL) component that allows
learners to experience agricultural firms in the real world. Additionally,
program graduates will have the chance to launch their own agribusiness, generating
employment and supporting Ghana's goal of sustainable food production.
The objective of the
initiative, according to its founders, is to equip Ghanaians with commercial
and digital skills that will boost agricultural output, creativity, and
independence.
