A young woman has opened up
about her difficulties with relationships, love, and social expectations on
social media. The woman, who calls herself a “lover girl,” showed extreme
annoyance at being childless and single as she gets closer to 29.
She claims that she has
always had a true and deep love for the right person, believing in commitment
and creating a future together. She is still unmarried, though, in spite of her
good intentions and hard work in previous relationships, which makes her doubt
her value and the meaning of love.
“I have always been a
lover girl, but yet I’m not married, no kids, and I’m almost 29 years old,” she
lamented.
Since then, her sincere
confession has gone viral, with many internet users expressing similar
experiences and sympathizing with her agony. While some commenters condemned
the social pressure that makes women feel incomplete without marriage or
children, others urged her to maintain her optimism by reminding her that
everyone's life chronology is unique.
The woman acknowledged
that when she watches her friends get married or have families, she
occasionally feels left behind, but she is still optimistic that her time will
come.
“It’s not that I don’t
want to be patient, but sometimes it hurts. I just want to be loved, right?”
she wrote.
Her tale has inspired
others to put their emotional well-being and personal development ahead of
timelines by starting an impassioned online discussion about love, self-worth,
and social expectations.
