After the Confederation
of African Football (CAF) amended their group stage schedule, the Black Queens
are prepared for a new challenge.
On Wednesday, July 29, at
the Moulay Rachid Stadium in Casablanca, the team, under coach Kim Lars
Bjorkegren, will begin their Group C campaign against Cape Verde. This
thrilling opening is set to begin at 17:00 GMT.
The team will play
Cameroon on Sunday, August 2 at 17:00 GMT at the same location after this game.
On Thursday, August 6, at 20:00 GMT, they will play a critical match against
Mali to wrap up their group stage trip.
These changes come after CAF decided to relocate the team's headquarters from Fez to Casablanca. As they strive for a position in the knockout stages, the Black Queens are extremely driven.
The team's goal is to qualify for the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup,
which would be their first international appearance since 2007, in addition to
capturing continental honors in Morocco.
Fans are excited to watch
them excel in these forthcoming games because they have already demonstrated
positive growth.
