On Sunday morning, a
devastating discovery shook the peaceful hamlet of Trom Dominion City in
Koforidua. The discovery of the lifeless body of Isaac Amanor, a local fashion
designer well-known for his tailoring business close to the Koforidua Sports
Stadium, shocked locals in shock.
Near a few residential homes, the man, who was
in his late 40s, was discovered partially nude and only wearing boxer shorts.
While the exact details
of his death are still unknown, many believe he was murdered by unknown
assailants who dumped his body in the area. The discovery has sparked
significant fear among locals, leading to urgent calls for an increased police
presence to combat growing insecurity.
Some community members
expressed frustration, claiming that the police were slow to respond to the
initial report, which caused further anxiety as a crowd gathered at the scene.
Samuel Atta Amo, the Assembly Member for the Adweso Town Electoral Area, addressed
the incident as deeply disturbing.
He is now urging
authorities to take immediate action to improve safety and security in this
fast-developing part of the New Juaben South Municipality.
