After 17-year-old David Atidoglo Kito disappeared in
Domeabra, a distraught family is calling for explanations. After being sent on
a church assignment by his pastor, Maxwell Asamoah, the recent senior high
school graduate vanished.
The pastor claims that on Wednesday, June 24, he gave David
instructions to turn on the church lights, but the boy never came back. Later,
Pastor Asamoah called Emmanuel Kwesi Adonu, David's father, to find out if the
adolescent had returned to Old Edubiase.
The family is demanding a comprehensive police inquiry since
they have serious doubts about the pastor's story. They draw attention to
discrepancies, pointing out that it is customary to allocate this duty to two
kids together rather than David by himself. In order to get the truth about his
son's final actions, Mr. Adonu is pleading with the police to question the
preacher.
The family demands clarification, despite Pastor Asamoah's
insistence that he called the police and the community after David failed to
return. Investigations to find the missing adolescent are still in progress,
according to ASP Emmanuel Adjei, the Obuasi District Police Crime Officer.
