Student loyalty has its
limitations, as a university class representative has discovered the hard way.
After being accused of a daring price-gouging plot by his classmates, the
student leader was recently placed under jail. He reportedly had to raise the
3,500 Naira required donation for a required textbook. He is accused of
charging his classmates 8,500 Naira instead, which is more than twice the true
amount.
When the class
representative, who had previously used an earlier iPhone XR, abruptly unveiled
a brand-new iPhone 16, suspicions started to grow. His students were not
pleased with the swift change and immediately blamed his new luxury on their
exorbitant book costs. The students reported him to the authorities because
they were fed up with what they saw as betrayal. The story has gone viral as a
warning about the risks of embezzling public cash for private benefit, even if
the exact university has not been identified.
